Are you the type of person who never has time to read? If you feel this way, guess what. You don’t need a lot of time in order to be productive in reading a book. In fact, once you learn how to quickly obtain the information that you want and need you will find it easier than ever before to move from one book to the next.
There are a couple of ways that you can greatly improve your time spent reading without sacrificing the information that you want to gather:
1. Speed reading. This is one of the best ways to quickly and efficiently get through a book without missing out on the knowledge that you need to pick up. Although speed reading comes naturally to some people, this is something that you can learn as well. Once you know the technique behind speed reading you should be able to use this to your advantage.
2. Philosophers Notes. These are more or less CliffsNotes that are focused on self-development books. Believe it or not, with Philosophers Notes you can read a book in less than 30 minutes. To go along with this, they also offer MP3 versions as well. Wouldn’t it be great to listen to all the important parts of a book in as little as 20 minutes? Imagine how much content you could get through!
If you are always busy and don’t like to spend all your time reading, you need to consider the two tricks above. Both speed reading and Philosophers Notes give you the ability to learn the essential knowledge without wasting time..
